Cleaning techniques:
I just got a couple of birds in from England and cleaned them up a bit Here they are:

I have been asked several times how I clean /condition their hair so I thought I would post it for everyone.
1.  Some birds have half their tail a little longer (or a lot longer) than the other half.  this is from the factory.  On sunny I opened him up and put his front tuft back in so it was equal by moving the little metal piece that was holding the hair together..Most birds don't need this but I thought I would include the tip.
2.  There was a couple of random paint marks I was able to remove with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball.
3.  If there hair is tangled use baby hair detangler and carefully comb from tip up to root (do not pull as this will cause frizzies)
4.  I washed them with hand soap and shampooed their hair.
5.  I removed a few other marks and an ink mark with a magic eraser.
6.  (If there is a marker stain you can put Oxy 10 on the spot and leave in the sun for a couple of days..may take a few treatments but don't leave on too long ..keep checking.)
7.   Condition wet hair with a thick rich conditioner and comb the tail out while wet
8.   Rinse and put the hair in one large soft foam roller..leave on for 24 hours ..not too long or it will be    crispy..do not brush or comb the hair or it will refrizz it.

Please post any success cleanings as I love to hear about revived birds.

Very exciting news...I don't like to count my chickens (or fairytails in this case) before they hatch but just purchased a couple of special birds to help round out my collection.  They are coming from far away so I hope they arrive!  Will post an update soon.
